About 400 students from Memot district, Tbong Khmom province and another group about 300 students from Komchai Mia district, Prey Veng province visited Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia (ECCC) on 26 April, 2018. The purposes of these visits is for understanding about ECCC’ legal processing as well as studying more on history of Democratic Kampuchea regime. After visiting at ECCC, all students continue to visit S-21 and Killing Field Cheung Ek.
I sat under the pagoda, moved by the monks’ chanting, which was accompanied by a chorus of over forty attendees.

The silence in the pagoda is almost deafening. Under a clutch of trees a group of children are playing but they seem to make only a little more noise than the long lengths of tangerine fabric hanging to dry in the breeze, and they disappear soon…
