Closing Statements in Case 002/02

The Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) would like to invite both national and international media representatives to cover the upcoming Closing Statements in Case 002/02 against KHIEU Samphan and NUON Chea.

The Closing Statements will be held from 13-23 June 2017 as follows:

Civil Party Lead Co-Lawyers, 13 June 2017 (1 day)

Co-Prosecutors, 14 and 15 June 2017 (2 days)

Defence Teams, 16, 19, 20 and 21 June 2017 (morning) (3.5 days)

Rebuttal, 21 June (afternoon) and 22 June (morning) (1 day)

Final Statements of the Accused, 23 June  (4 hours)

Please note that the proceedings will be from 9:00-16:00 with a recess from 11:30-13:30.
