ECCC weekly radio programme resumes on 19 June 2014

The Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) will resume its weekly radio programme on 19 June 2014, following a two-month break. The radio programme, “Khmer Rouge Leaders on Trial”, airs every Thursday on Bayon FM95 from 12:00 – 13:00.

Each programme presents the major developments from the week’s hearings and features guest speakers from the court. Listeners are also invited to call in and ask questions to officials from the ECCC.

“This radio programme provides an important opportunity for the public to interact with court officials and develop a further understanding of judicial proceedings at the ECCC; it is key channel through which the public can access information”, said Acting Director of the Office of Administration H.E. KRANH Tony in a statement.
