      In February 2017 the Trial Chamber reduced the scope of Case 002, terminating all facts in the Closing Order not included in Case 002/01 and 002/02 (see E439/5). The appeal judgement in Case 002/02 therefore completed the proceedings in Case 002.

      Witnesses, experts, and civil parties

      In Case 002, 3,869 civil parties were admitted.

      In Case 002/02, 114 witnesses, 63 civil parties, and eight experts testified before the Trial Chamber.
