Suos Neou

SUOS Neou (Unknown-1976 or 1977) was Secretary of Sector 24. He extensively detained and interrogated at S-21 on Son Sen’s orders and subsequently executed under Duch’s authority.

Key Findings

The Trial Chamber in Case 002/02 found that Suos Neou:
  • Was interrogated, tortured, and killed at S-21 in 1976, which triggered a cycle of arrests, torture, confessions, and executions of East Zone cadres at the hands of Central and Southwest Zone cadres. 7
