The Public Affairs Section of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) cordially invites representatives of the media to a Press Briefing in advance of the Appeal Judgment in Case 002/01 agaisnt Khieu Samphan and Nuon Chea on Monday 21 November 2016  from 10:00 – 11:00am at Sunway Hotel (No.1, Street 92, Wat Phnom, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh). Simultaneous interpretation in Khmer and English will be available. 

High water levels bar public from visiting court!

The ECCC is not able to allow any public visitors to join the hearings at present, due to high water levels within the compound. An announcement will be made when the ECCC is able to accommodate public visitors at the court again.

Announcement on the ruling of the Chamber to postpone court hearings until June 2nd

The Chamber postpones court hearings until June 2nd 2016. The Chamber will then hear the testimony of witness 2-TCW-816 for 3 days. KAING Guek Eav alias Duch will be questioned by all parties on the second week of June.

A weekly radio talk show, “Khmer Rouge Leaders on Trial”, will be back on air every Thursday evening, from 6pm to 7pm, starting from 10 September 2015, on the Women’s Media Center of Cambodia (WMC)’s radio station, FM102, and its sub-stations nationwide.
