Mr. Barnabé NEKUIE
Mr. Barnabé Nekuie has been a member of the Bar Association of Cameroon since 1993. He holds a Master’s degree specialising in international organisations from the University of Zurich, in Switzerland. From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Nekuie practiced in the position of defense co-counsel and then lead counsel of the accused before the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, which is based in Arusha, Tanzania, and has the mandate of trying those responsible for the genocide in Rwanda. Since 2009, he has volunteered with Avocats Sans Frontières (ASF) France for the defense of Khmers Rouge victims. He is currently –and until June 2012- co-lawyer for the Civil Parties in Case 002 for ASF France.
