Ms. SONG Chorvoin

Ms. SONG Chorvoin (Cambodian) is a national Deputy Co-Prosecutor. She completed her Bachelor of Law at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in 2008, and a Bachelor of Education (TOEFL) from the Instiution of Foreign Languages (IFL). She then pursued her Master’s degree in Land Law and Patrimony at RULE and graduated in 2012. After completing the professional training programme of the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions (RAJP), in 2011-2012, she was appointed by Royal Decree to the judiciary as a Deputy Prosecutor at the Banteay Meanchey Court of First Instance where she supervised all types of criminal cases. Since 2012, she has been cross-appointed to the ECCC, fulfilling a strong personal commitment she has for the work of this internationalized tribunal. Chorvoin is currently qualifying as a trainer for prospective members of the judiciary at RAJP and additionally lectures in criminal procedure at RULE. She is fluent in Khmer and English.
