The Court Report February 2010

The February 2010 issue of the Court Report discusses the conclusion of the seventh plenary session of the ECCC, which enacted a variety of rule amendments that will apply to Case 002 and may affect subsequent trials as well. The Report also features a story on how Cambodians perceive the work of the Tribunal, noting that four in five Cambodians are aware of the Tribunal and the vast majority also believe that it will provide justice. The Australian First Assistant Secretary of the South-East Asia Division stopped by the Court for a briefing, and an American delegation also visited the ECCC on 9 February.
