Suspect

<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, verdana, Tahoma, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;">A "Suspect" is person whom the Co-Prosecutors or the Co-Investigating Judges consider may have committed a crime within the jurisdiction of the ECCC, but has not yet been charged. When the Co-Prosecutors files an <a href="tags/topic/67">Introductory Submission</a>&nbsp;where they request the Co-Investigating Judges to open an invistigation, they may include the name of a "Suspect" as a person to be investigated. </span></p><p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, verdana, Tahoma, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;">Any person who is a "Suspect" in the proceedings before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia shall be presumed innocent as long as his/her guilt has not been established through a final judgement.
