The Government of Japan has made a new contribution of US$1,385,567 to the international component of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). Japan is the largest donor to the ECCC, and with this recent contribution, Japan has provided final assistance exceeding of US$82 million, representing approximately 36 per cent of the total contributions to the court.
“On behalf of the ECCC, we would like to thank the Government of Japan for it’s generous and continued support”, said Acting Director of the Office of Administration H.E Kranh Tony and Deputy Director Knut Rosandhaug in a statement.
