Michiel Pestman (Netherlands) is a partner at the law firm of Böhler Advocaten in Amsterdam. Admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1994, he has specialized in criminal law and in human rights litigation. In recent years, Mr. Pestman has focused on international criminal law. Among other cases, he represented Moinina Fofana before the Special Court for Sierra Leone. He frequently gives lectures on his specialist legal field to students and fellow lawyers.
