A group of 22 law students from Cambodian University for Specialties (CUS) of Phnom Penh branch on 4 March 2024 visited the Resource Centre of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). During the visit, Mr. Em Chanthy, Librarian of the ECCC Resource Centre conducted a presentation on “how to access the ECCC collections including the case files physically and digitally, LexisNexis legal database, and ECCC bibliography”.
I sat under the pagoda, moved by the monks’ chanting, which was accompanied by a chorus of over forty attendees.

The silence in the pagoda is almost deafening. Under a clutch of trees a group of children are playing but they seem to make only a little more noise than the long lengths of tangerine fabric hanging to dry in the breeze, and they disappear soon…
