The substantive trial in Case 002/02 commences with opening statements by the Co-Prosecutors.

30 July 2014
The Trial Chamber convenes a further initial hearing in Case 002.

23 July 2014
In its decision on appeals against the Case 002/02, The Supreme Court Chamber upholds the scope of Case 002/02 as decided by the Trial Chamber on 26 April.

26 April 2014
The Trial Chamber decides to sever part of the reamaing charges in Case 002 into a new trial styled as Case 002/02. The charges included in Case 002/02 are displayed in the right side column of this page.

Closing statements conclude in Case 002/01.

The Trial Chamber decides to seperate the charges in Cases 002 into a series of smaller trials, and limits the scope of charges in the first trial Case 002/01 to alleged crimes against humanity related to the forced movement of the population from Phnom Penh and later from other regions (phases one and two), as well as alleged executions at Toul Po Chrey in Pursat.
