<div><b>Rule 79. General Provisions</b></div><div><i>(Amended on 1 February 2008, 5 September 2008, 6 March 2009 and 17 September 2010)</i></div><div><br></div><div>6.&nbsp;Hearings of the Chamber shall be conducted in public.</div><div>a) The Office of Administration shall ensure a public broadcast of the trial hearings, subject to any protective measures adopted under these IRs.</div><div>b) Where the Chamber considers that a public hearing would be prejudicial to public order, or to give effect to protective measures ordered under these IRs, it may, by reasoned decision, order that all or part of the hearing be held in camera. This decision is not open to appeal.</div><div>c) Where the purpose of in camera proceedings could be defeated by the attendance of the parties, the Chamber may, by reasoned decision having consulted the parties, limit the participation of the parties to those essential to the proceedings and their necessary representatives. This decision is not open to appeal.</div><div>d) In any case, the Chamber shall announce its judgments at a public hearing.</div>
