<p><strong>Rule 26. Live Testimony by means of Audio or Video-link Technology</strong></p><p>1. The testimony of a witness or expert during a judicial investigation or at trial shall be given in person, whenever possible. However, the Co-Investigating Judges and the Chambers may allow a witness to give testimony by means of audio or video technology, provided that such technology permits the witness to be interviewed by the Co-Investigating Judges or the Chambers, and the parties, at the time the witness so testifies. Such technologies shall not be used if they would be seriously prejudicial to, or inconsistent with defence rights.</p><p>2. The interview of a witness under this Rule shall otherwise be conducted in accordance with these IRs.</p>
